Wednesday, June 10 - Friday, June 12, NACE Sponsored Event ChinaCorr has been postponed until an unspecified date in order to protect the health and safety of all international participants to control the coronavirus epidemic and prevent its spread. With such infrastructure growth has come an increased need to control and mitigate corrosion and, the upcoming event, which will bring together corrosion management professionals from around the world to Beijing.
This number is not exact, since most water utilities do not have complete records of their piping system. The sewer system consists of approximately 16, publicly owned treatment facilities releasing some million-meter cube of wastewater per day This estimated statistic accounted for the costs of replacing aging infrastructure, corrosion inhibitors, internal mortar linings, and external coatings and cathodic protection.
During this one-day seminar, speakers will share problem-solving strategies, case studies and analytical data from the following perspectives: research and development, treatment systems, maintenance troubleshooting, inspection protocols and water technology methods. This one-day seminar focuses on corrosion detection and corrosion mitigation in the water and wastewater industry.
Newly engineered systems are designed for up to 30 years of service but exposure to environmental corrosion, UV, extreme temperatures and salt corrosion can challenge component durability. Excessive component failures can lead to high maintenance cost and overall under performance of energy output. This event will identify corrosion management methodologies in these respective areas.
This one-day seminar is focused on a variety of renewable markets, such as wind and solar energy. The adverse effects of exhaust gas emissions from internal combustion engines and boiler exhaust gases on human beings and sensitive ecosystems have been well documented by the scientific community. This one-day seminar focuses on guidance and current discussion of materials selection and corrosion of marine exhaust gas cleaning systems EGCS or scrubbers.
Saturday, June 13,AM - PM CT NACE Sponsored Event The approach identifies the material degradation and corrosion threats, barrier status and process safety issues that need to be addressed in operating an asset beyond its design life. This framework mitigates the risk of integrity blind spots that exists with other Asset Life Extension ALE methodologies, which place little emphasis on age-related and non-age-related failure mechanisms.
This a one-day seminar focuses on corrosion management of floating storage and offloading FPSO vessels and the extension of the life of offshore structures — fixed or floating static equipment, beyond that indicated by the original design philosophy. This one-day seminar will focus on current, and future shifts in asset owner requirements, and emerging methodologies, technologies and materials for asset integrity maintenance.
This comprehensive technical conference is packed with infinite opportunities to exchange knowledge and connect with the entire corrosion-fighting continuum: scientists and researchers, engineers and technicians, coatings inspectors and contractors, educators and students, business executives and owners — all focused on the study, prevention, and control of corrosion.New details limit the scope of the economic injury disaster loans EIDL meant to provide businesses with immediate, emergency cash.

This standard presents accepted methods and practices regarding the use of cathodic protection CP for the control of external corrosion on buried or submerged carbon steel, stainless steel, gray cast iron, ductile cast iron, copper, and aluminum piping systems at nuclear power plants.
This standard may be useful at facilities other than nuclear power plants that contain complex networks of buried or submerged piping, which may be composed of more than one material and may or may not be grounded. Testing for corrosion resistance is not included in this test method. To stay competitive in the corrosion industry, companies must continually be looking for more efficient, safe, and cost-effective ways to inspect and maintain assets.
There are many opportunities for the increased use of robotic solutions in all aspects of the corrosion industry, but the primary reasons focus on limiting human intervention for both safety and accuracy. This book presents the reader with multiple examples of the use of robotic unmanned and remote-controlled systems, be they underground, on the ground, or in the air.
The oilfield chemicals presented are corrosion inhibitors, biocides, scale inhibitors, and drag reducers. He suggests the compilation could be used for a university-level engineering or scientific course on oilfield chemicals or tailored training to enhance the technical knowledge of field personnel on oilfield chemical application and management. Volume 1: Development and Selection. Volume 2: Performance Evaluation and Application.
Volume 3: Monitoring and Optimization. Each volume contains current research findings, field treatment practices, best practices, and scientific and engineering concepts. This CorrCompilation series focuses primarily on equilibrium-formed scales, where an aqueous fluid changes from an unsaturated equilibrium state to a saturated and supersaturated state and then solids may start to form. These types of fouling minerals include alkaline earth salts, silicates, alkaline salts NaClsulfides, and under specific circumstances, metal sulfide salts that form through equilibrium changes.
While corrosion product scales are not the subject of this book, the importance of corrosion product layers to the deposition of other scales will be described. Since this is a CorrCompilation and more than 90 copies of NACE papers are included, the work is published in four volumes. The editor, Wayne W. Volume 3: Chemistry and Application of Scale Inhibitors. Volume 4: Alternative Methods of Scale Control.
